Cityflatmate lets you choose who you want to live with. Read through different profiles and chat with those who sound like you’ll match well with. We prefer you to get to know your flatmate via our platform before finding a place together that you’ll enjoy living in.

It is currently free to download and use the flatmating service. However there are a couple of fun features that you may have to pay for should you use them such as the game ‘Flash’ and the ‘match with your opposite’ feature. But don’t worry, we’ll always ask for payment before charging you!

At the moment, Cityflatmate is only available in London. But we will be rolling out to different city over the next few months. If you’ll like to see Cityflatmate in your city, please email us: social@cityflatmate.com

At the moment, the app can only be used to people match.

We would prefer that you didn’t. Cityflatmate prides itself on being people focused.

Please write to us at social@cityflatmate.com. We will investigate the matter and if needs be, remove the accused and take measures to prevent them from signing up to the service. If the situation causes you discomfort or becomes threatening, we advise you to contact your local police.

Please use the ‘password reset’ function which can be found at the bottom of the sign-up screen.

In the menu, there is an action at the bottom of the screen that allows you to delete your profile. Please note, this action cannot be undone. Once it’s gone it’s gone! But don’t worry, you can always sign-up to the service again 😀

We are currently working on adding read receipts to messages. At the moment, it is not possible to know if your message has been read.

the person will have to also like your profile back before you are able to fully communicate with them. We want to prevent users being sent unsolicited messages.

Sometimes, it takes a few minutes for your profile to show up. After creating your profile, you may have to log back into the app to view/ edit your profile.

We cannot check all user profiles. But if there are any profiles that are concerning, please email the Cityflatmate team on social@cityflatmate.comand we’ll investigate discreetly before deciding on what actions to take
